Dr. Rod Santos offers a comprehensive cardiovascular treatment program. We utilize a combination of Chelation therapy, Ozone therapy and Plaquex. Individually, each therapy has been proven to help with cardiovascular conditions and when combined the effects are synergistic and even more powerful. Patients typically receive treatment once to three times a week depending on the severity of their condition. Patient may require as little as 10 treatments to as much as 50 treatments; most patients undergo 30 treatments. Supplementation is also recommended to address individual risk factors. The goals of the program are to:

1. Reduce the viscosity of the blood
2. Reduce risk factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol and homocysteine
3. Increase tissue oxygenation
4. Clear blockages

Testing is usually performed prior to treatment. Some patients are sent to the Swedish Medical center in Seattle Washington for an EBT scan (EBT scan will measure calcification in the coronary arteries www.swedish.org) before and after treatment. Blood tests are also performed in the beginning and during the course of treatment.
